Checking that Recos events are sent to GA4 through GTM
Connect Tag Assistant from GTM
Go to the preview of your GTM account:
Enter the URL of your site in the Tag Assistant
Click on “continue”
Check the display of recommendations
Go to the page to test where the recommendation is displayed, then check in the events on the left that you have a event named “ab_recos...”
You need to see an event ab_recos with the action_id: “show”
Then you can click on a product card of the recommendation, and you should see a new ab_recos event with the action_id: “go_to_page”

Each toggle at the left correspond to a different page, the event “go_to_page” will be on the page before (the one where we clicked on the produc
If you have the direct basket addition from the product cards, you will have on the same principle, an event with the action_id: “add”
Check that the events arrive correctly in GA4
Go on GA4 > Admin > DebugView
You should see an event ab_recos
Click on it and check if you have all the parameters, for exemple for a display :
action_id : show
item_ids : all the ids of products displayed
Reco_id : id of the reco
